so if i average 10 mph in an urban environment, i daresay mexico can be reached (if cycling at that speed 7 hours a day) in…8 days? i’m allocating 3 weeks to this endeavor though.

in may or june i am going to bike to southern california. it will be the ultimate CALIFORNIA adventure and i am so ready. it will be my graduation present to myself. however right now my bike is out of commission and i need to start training asap. you should come with me. it will only take about a week and a half (at 50-ish miles per day). doable!
how did i get through my life up to this point without will oldham’s “master and everyone”? at least i have it now. took me long enough.
last night: four blue moons, midnight sushi at a place that played operation ivy and rancid
this morning: guerilla cafe coffee, gregoire lunch, 70 dollars worth of produce from berkeley bowl

what a fearsome wind last night. it blew open some of my windows and i literally thought it would just take me away. anyway. the day is here and i’m not afraid anymore.
opened all the windows and the wind is now in my room. my room is up in a treetop. so much space i don’t know what to do with it all. i sort of ran away from my family this week and it’s been really nice. i am going to cook dinner tonight but chris doesn’t know it yet. i hope it will turn out alright. it’s so easy to make men happy, haha. good food and affection is all it...

merry new year
i had such a fun night. i feel bad saying this considering i feel fine while everyone around me is nursing terrible hangovers. i met so many great people, danced to the beatles for an hour, sang lots and lots of songs. took so many great pictures.
actually this entire week has been amazing. i am making really great friends. meeting his family, too. trying this thing on for size. i like it....
